The purpose of this book is to be a complete guide to cat cafes in Taiwan.Ive tried to include all the cafes currently in business, though I may havemissed a few. The ones that Ive written more extensively about and includedintroductions to the cats for are the ones I consider my favorites. Ive givenmy personal impression of all the cafes based on my experience.
There is such a wide variety of cat cafes in Taiwan, something to appealto any cat lover. In my opinion, the best cat cafes have happy, healthy cats(whether its one cat or ten), are clean, have a good atmosphere, creativedesign and reasonably good drinks and food. Some people might just want tosee lots of cats and not care about other factors. Others might be looking fora quieter place or just any place in their vicinity that has cats. I hope that thisguide helps everyone—Taiwanese, expats, tourists—find their favorite kind ofcat cafe.
編寫這本書的初衷，是為了能介紹所有臺灣的貓咖啡。我儘量將臺灣所有我知道，還在營業的貓店家介紹給大家，但是可能有一些我不知道而被遺漏掉。我也盡我所能地介紹我所知道的貓店長，以及我特別推薦的店家。書中提供的個人感想，也都是來自於我自己的親身經驗。
臺灣有這麼多種不同類型的貓咖啡店存在，每一位喜歡貓的人一定都可以找到最喜歡的。我想最棒的貓咖啡店，必須有開心健康的貓（不管有幾隻）、店內環境乾淨、有好的氣氛、具有創意的設計特色，還有好吃好喝的東西。當然，有很多人可能只想跟很多貓咪們玩，而不在乎其他因素。如果你比較喜歡安靜的地方，也或許只想找附近最近的貓咖啡，我希望這本書能幫到所有的人，找到屬於自己的貓咖啡店。
