★第一級
故事強調簡易入門字彙，和一些重複性的句型如： with be， like， want and can，及兒童周身的小社會，故事範例如：
- The Hungry Bear
- I can see you！
- Where is Baby Circle？
- Give it to me！
- Oh, no! I am a Cat！
- The Tall Turtle
- Little Red Hen
- The Three Little Pigs
藉著聽第一級的故事，孩子將學會認識約五百個字彙及其相關句型。
★第二級
此處故事有更複雜的字彙，及複雜的劇情。內容著重在動物與社區共同體體，語文更豐富，句型結構更複雜，其中很多故事演譯自依索寓言和童話故事。
本級故事範例：

- The Little Mermaid
- The Genie of the Sea
- The Unhappy Stonecutter
- The Naughty Mouse
The Big Turnip
在聽完第二級故事，孩子將學會認識一千個以上的字彙。
★第三級
第三級提供世界各地民俗故事，在故事蟲多元文化的教案中，孩子們從十二個不同國家，或世界各領域中，至少各學會兩個當地代表性的故事，及其文化。
這些故事包括： Lazy Jack （England）
- The Baba Yaga （Russia）
- Ma Liang and the Magic Brush （China）
- Tiddalik the Frog （Australia）
- How Hare married a princess （Africa）
- Fox and Armadillo （the USA）
- Aladdin and the Magic Lamp （Iran）
- The Duck and the King （France）
因為這些代表性故事之美，及演說故事的良好深厚基礎，孩子們只因聆聽這些故事，就已經累積了超過兩千個字彙。
在第二級，孩子學習自然和鄰近圈子，歌曲如此詮釋：
We have to save the rhino， the rhino and its horns
We have to save the rhino
There aren’t many anymore
So we shouldn’t wait to save the rhino
Or soon it will be too late.
在第三級，孩子學習世界就像地球村，雖然書中有許多強調這理念的歌曲， 然而以下這首是結尾歌：
Children of the world
The earth is in your hands
Children of the world
Now come and let us dance
And make this world
A world of friends.
