1883年生於美國賓州。1910年成為古槐靈會（AMORC）的領導人，直至1939年辭世之前。古槐靈會員向為世界各國菁英，包括愛因斯坦、富蘭克林、牛頓、培根、笛卡兒都是會員。現有上百萬會員，遍佈全世界。博士著作包括Self Mastery and Fatewith the Cycles of Life、The Mystical Life of Jesus、The Symbolic Prophecy of the GreatPyramid、Mental Poisoning等等，其中多本著作已翻成16種語言。
